Definitely a weekend of what could have been…
A strong quali ending P2 and P1 for race 1 and 2 at Brands Hatch respectively, we knew we had the pace to fight for wins. Race 1 finished in P3 after penalties (🫣).
Race 2 I started on pole and led the whole race until the final few minutes where I ended up hit off at turn 1 but, thankfully, was able to make it out of the gravel and still managed to finish, once again, P3, gutting to know how close we were to finally winning.
Race 3 was tricky but finished the race in, yes once again, P3.
Maybe it’s a P3 curse 🤷♀️
Anyway, if we look at the positives at least the pace was there and we know what can be done going forward to Oulton Park.
Once again, huge thank you to the team Toro Verde GT it was a mega job this weekend! Another huge thanks to Abbie Eaton who has figured out how to make me drive quick, definitely didn’t think in preseason that this pace would be here by round 2!
